Thirukolanatha Swami Temple - Thirukolakudi

This hill Temple consists of 3 major Shiva Shrines at 3 levels and a Murugan Shrine. The 3 Shiva Shrines at different levels resembles the concept of Bhumi (Shrine at Foot Hills), Antharam (Shrine at the mid of the Hills) and Swargam (Shrine at the Hill top).

Konnaiyur Muthumari Amman Temple

The presiding deity Shri Muthumari Amman graces devotees who seek her blessing.
The place was dense with Kondrai flower trees, hence called Kondrayur, now changed as Konnaiyur. Aadi Amavasya-new moon day in July August; Panguni Utsav in March-April and Tamil New year day are the festivals celebrated in the temple. The 15 day Panguni festival is very famous in this temple. Huge numbers of devotees gather in the temple from nearby places, pray to Mother Amman and offer their prayer commitments.



Arulmigu Thenimalai Shri Azhagiya Kumaran Temple

Thenimalai Murugan temple at Konnaiyur, reverberates with Angaraka or Mangalan or Mars Energy. It is to be noted that Lord Muruga is the adipathi or Lord presiding over Angaraka or Mars energy which rules over Tuesday or Mangalvar/Managala varam. The Theertham here is formed over rocks and reverberates with Angaraka/Mars Energy.

It is to be noted that among the Navagrahas, Angaraka who rules over Tuesday is responsible for blessing people for getting a good job and good house. Girivalam or circulambulation around Thenimalai and visiting the Murugan temple on top of the hill will bless people with getting a positive job.

Also Theni in Tamil means bees. Bees do a divine job of collecting the honey from various flowers and depositing them in Beehive known as Thenkooodu in Tamil. Honey is known for it's natural sweetness, medicinal properties and it is used in Pooja for Abhishekam.

Similarly those who go around the hill on Tuesdays in a week or Vasthu day (Vaastu days are 8 in Number in a year and can be identified from Panchangam) and worship Lord Muruga in Thenimalai will get a good job which is good for themselves and Humanity.

Viswaroopa Anjeneyar Temple at Vegupatti

Sri Hanuman also called as Lord Anjaneyar; the son of Vayu - the God of Wind and the loyal lieutenant to Lord Rama, is known for his strength in overcoming any hurdle. Lord Anjaneyar rose in height as Viswaroopa Anjaneyar to easily step across the ocean, in his successful search of Sita Devi.
This 21 feet gigantic Vishvaroopa Anjaneyar Temple in Vegupatti is said to be the third tallest Hanumangarh statue in Tamilnadu. The powerful Sri Anjaneyar blesses his devotees with a lot of positivity and dynamism to face challenges with ease.



Sri Malayandi Swami Temple at Valayapatti

Sri Malayandi Swami Temple at Valayapatti is a beautiful and picturesque Temple that was built by the Nagarathar community. Lord Shiva blesses his devotees as Sri Malayandi Swami. This temple that's atop a scenic hillock, surrounded by a pond in front, has a shrine for Lord Ayyappan, Lord Vishnu, Pillayar - who also blesses in the name of Malayandi. This temple is spiritually considered as very powerful and also is a scenic place to trek atop to have a view of the beautiful scape around. The Tamil cinema, Varuvaan Vadivelan was taken from around this beautiful temple.



Thirukalambur - Sri Kathali Vaneshwarar temple or Sri Vaithiyanatha swamy temple

An ancient Temple wherein Lord Vaithiyanatha swamy blesses devotees in curing rare diseases.
The temple has many banana trees that grow naturally even when there's no rain. These banana trees are untouched, as they are meant only for the presiding deity.



Piranmalai

King Paari, is one of the Kadai Ezhu Vallals (Seven Supreme Philanthropists of the Sangam age) - who's known as Mullaikku Ther kodutha Paari; for gifting his chariot in showing his concern towards the leaning Jasmine creeper. It's traced that King Paari had ruled from Piranmalai. The barren hill is believed to have been covered with dense jungle in the days of Maruthu Pandiyar's rule from late 17th century to 1801. It was part of a large jungle that extended from the Eastern Ghats to the Palk Straits.
Piranmalai is a fortified hill at an elevation of over 2,000 feet (610 m). This is a last outcrop of the Eastern Ghats, with a Bhairavar temple and five peedas in the rocks of the hill called the Pandava Therthams, is also sacred to the Muslims with a dargah of Waliullah Sheikh Abdullah Shaheb on its peak. This hill is an example of religious harmony.
At the foot hill, there are traces of a moat and Fort Marudhu, which was pulled down in early 19th century.

This quote of poet Kaniyan Poongundranar was conveyed at the platforms of World forums by former President of India, Shri Dr Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Mahibalanpatti is the birth place of this renowned poet.



Sri Vallilingam Swamy Temple - Thuvar

Thuvar Temple, with the presiding deity Sri Suyambu Vallilinga Swamy with Sri Poorana Pushkalai Amman aka Adaikathal Temple is one of the important kula deivam temples of the Nagarathar community. Predominantly Nachandupatti and about 32 Nagarathar villages in all, who are considered descendants of Adaikammai Appathal, have Thuvar as their Kula Deivam Temple.
Thuvar Temple has a shrine for Aiyanar, Adaikathal or Adaikammai Appathal along with the presiding deities.



Venthanpatti Nandhi Temple

Sri Meenakshi Sundaresvarar Temple, Vendhanpatti, holds importance to the big Nandheeshwarar also called as Thambi Nandhi (Brother of the Thanjavur big Nandhi). This Nandhi (Bull) is known as Nei Nandheeshwarar, as he has an abishegam of Ghee throughout the year. The ghee that's spread over Sri Nandheeshwarar gets divine property and it remains in it's purest form. No ants or flees touch upon the ghee that's covered upon Sri Nandheeshwarar.
The Nandeeswarar in this temple is unique with a Srichakraa inscribed between the two horns. It's considered to be very sacred to seek the blessings of Almighty Sri Sundaresvarar through the good wishes of Sri Nandheeshwarar of Vendhanpatti.
